It's a hexagonal pillbox made from a gold tone metal. It has a large 1 inch octagonal polished tiger's eye gem fitted to the top of the lid, with a spiral wound bezel. There is floral engraving on the side and sides, and the bottom is stamped Hong Kong. The inside is white on both the lid and the basin. This is in good vintage condition, and has been well loved. As such, there is moderate wear along the edges and sides. The wear consists mainly of the breakdown of the brighter gold plating in high-touch areas, to reveal a darker gold tone metal underneath.
