It's by the company American Beauty. It's made of gold tone metal, in a sort of shell shape, and has scalloped edges. The compact is empty, but it does still have its original powder puff. The lid is mirrored. It doesn't seem to be damaged to scratched, but there is still some dust from the original powder on the mirror, puff, and basin, so it does need cleaning. There is some scratching and wear on both the top and bottom of the outside, but no major damage. Great for collectors!
